On this page

The main funeral hall is at the historic entrance to Nordfriedhof at Ungererstraße 130, 80805 Munich. Look for the two sphinxes at the portal when you arrive.

Entrance and meeting point

Check the invitation for the meeting point. The city lists the funeral hall, waiting room and viewing area as possible meeting points. If the invitation asks you to meet at a grave, use the cemetery map to find the burial section.

See directions for the U6. The parking page explains the roughly 240-metre walk from the car park to the portal.

Main hall and farewell room

The city lists 70 seats in the main hall. A further 30 chairs can be added when needed. The hall has a hearing loop. Small funeral groups of up to 15 people can use the separate farewell room. The city applies the same procedure and usage fees to a ceremony there as in the main hall.

Accessibility on site

The city lists accessible toilets at the viewing area and the funeral hall. If you need a step-free route from the entrance or a loan wheelchair, contact the cemetery administration in advance to check the route and availability.
